Food, Wine & Fashion

For Aspenites, Food & Wine is the official kickoff to the summer season, signaling the welcomed onslaught of tourists and added ka-ching for everyone – from restaurants and hotels to every gallery and retail store in town. The 32nd edition of this extravaganza of gourmets and gourmands was no exception! It’s also the perfect occasion to bring out those pretty spring frocks and outfits we’ve been gathering, just lying in wait for our mountain temperatures to warm up enough to break them out of the closet. Enjoy my article and photos of this annual rite of passage.

About fashionistainaspen

Hi! I've been the fashion writer for the Aspen Daily News for five years. I'm probably the only one in the Rocky Mountains since no other ski area in the region can boast our brand of style, events, and now, even our own Fashion Week. Please contact me with any ideas, events or links that you think my readers need to know! My motto: Do it with style!
