A Love Story – Fashion Show benefit at Belly Up in Aspen

Last night, local Plum TV co-host, Ramona Bruland produced a flashy, well-staged bit of theatre, in the form of a fashion show at the Belly Up nightclub in Aspen. A benefit for the National Association of People with AIDS, Tuesday night’s show told a story of boy-meets-girl, boy-meets-boy, girl-meets-girl, boy loses girl, boy loses boy, boy gets…well, you get the picture. Beautifully choreographed and staged, with clothes from designers and shops up and down the Roaring Fork Valley and beyond, this love story delivered the emotion and fashion…complete with an electronically charged soundtrack along with ‘Green’ designs that made the intimate audience want to dance…and shop! Producer Bruland walked the runway in local shop Faboo’s linen dress with this season’s fave burst of color..a flower accent handpainted in the center of the dress. It is a harbinger of our early Springtime here in the Rockies…bring it on!
